So, much like Monster High, there’s a lot of upcoming My Little Pony stuff to take a gander at, and as always, I have opinions on these things! C’mon, it’s a blog, that’s what it’s for!

Okay… I guess Fantastic Flutters is another attempt at leeching off the whole Flutter Ponies thing from G1? I don’t know. These two girls look to come with very large attachable wings and, like I said, have a look that Lisa Frank threw up on them. They might be fun to have in a laughable sort of way, I don’t know. Kinda like my Glimmer Wings, which I do have two of because they released two as Glimmer Wings first. But, I dunno. This is… much. This is very much.
Tentatively no on the want list because just. No.
Rainbow Power Fashion Style Rarity
Hmm. Now, Rarity is my girl. I’m not sure what the “Try Me!” is all about, but this one is high on the want list just the same because Rarity Is Best Pony. I do like the alternate colors in her mane as well.
Good grief, I am going to run out of Fashion Styles room!

2014 is apparently the Year of the Horse, so what better way for Hasbro to celebrate it than by releasing a special pony! This is Chinese New Year Pinkie Pie.
She is rather large, at 22cm/8in she is taller than a Fashion Style and will come in a special box and with unique body paint.
Pinkie Pie is growing on me in a big way, way more than I ever thought she would, so she is a must!
She will be a Toys R Us Exclusive, and can be preordered for $24.99 (with a one-per-customer limit) here.

Alright, so I don’t know the deal with this set, but I do like the little shoutout to Pinkie’s helicopter from Griffon the Brush-Off. This will be a bit much for my space, so it’s a no, but I’d almost say yes just for that propellor beanie!
It’s really kinda cute. Blast.

Alright, we’ll start with these two. I love looking at custom ponies with that gradient effect on their legs. It’s not something I’ve ever mastered, even after looking at tutorials over and over, so to be able to get a couple without having to fool with trying to make them myself is a good thing indeed! I’m intrigued by this Through the Mirror line, I like that it’s a My Little Pony into Equestria Girls thing, because I loved Equestria Girls with every fiber of my being. Plus, these two ponies are really pretty.
Definitely wants, and I hear they’re out in some places, so before I go get my flu shot on Saturday, I’mma go look for them.

Through the Mirror Fashion Style Princess Twilight Sparkle
This interests me! Much like the Deco Ponies of last year (I never did get the Princess Luna and I’m kicking myself for that!), this Fashion Style Twilight Sparkle comes with some glitter paint and a marker so you can decorate that (looks like) paper dress up there. She also comes wearing a skirt and with a painted on top, and something like socks painted on her legs.
Look familiar, pony friends? It should.

So there that’s what I was leading to. (Also, cute pasta-haired princess plushie ponies! WHERE IS MY LUNA?!) But look there in the middle. Through the Mirror Twilight Sparkle. I have looked all over for a picture of her but I can’t seem to find her, but I’m intrigued so far! Outfit looks similar, but not exactly like, the original release of the Twilight Sparkle doll, and looks like she comes with some fun accessories too!

Oh my god, it’s My Little Pony meets Jem and the Holograms and I AM IN LOVE.
Rarity has a KEYTAR. HEARTS IN MY EYES. FOR SERIOUS.
And look at Applejack’s boots! Are those not the coolest? I love stompy boots on dolls.
I dig Rainbow Dash’s outfit a lot too! And I may have to see if Pinkie Pie’s skirt would fit on Catty Noir, I think Catty could rock that.
The only one I’m a little iffy on is Twilight Sparkle. I think something’s getting lost in translation here. I’ll have to see her in person.
There is no word on if there is a Fluttershy in this line or not. If there is, I haven’t been able to find a picture of her.
But still! This line is awesome! It really brings me back to my Jem days and I’m so happy about it!

The Toychest Snarker 
Wait, doesn’t it look like the new equestria girls have actual feet? Instead of snap-on shoes and nubs? It seems like pinkie pie and twilight have feet, and applejack’s extra boots are open-toed.
I just had to ask because the only thing that kept me from getting the equestria girls dolls was their nub feet.
It does look that way! Oooh, I hope you’re right! Maybe Hasbro has seen the error of their ways. Though, the peg feet haven’t stopped me.
I think you guys might be right! (Yay!) It definitely looks like Pinkie Pie has actual feet. Fingers are crossed!!!!
Same here! I would love if they stepped away from the peg feet, though I love these little Equestria Girls regardless.
I can see a lot of Jem in the Equestria Girls, too! I think Rainbow Dash might be my favorite of that line.

She’s the only one who’s been pictured with one. Hmm. You’re making me wonder too, Andy. I’ll do a flyby at Taobao later, maybe something that looks like it’d be with that line will show up.
I’m not a big fan of the first equestria girls dolls faces, but I LOVE the rainbow rocks dolls!!! The outfits are so awesome and rainbow-y!! (My favorites are pinkie, twilight, and rarity)
